Well, we’ve been off the radar for a bit since we’ve been quite sick for the last several days. Not fun, especially since I caught a cold in our first two weeks and then this virus with a high fever and severe cramps since Valentine’s Day- not fun, especially since we couldn’t go out to celebrate Valentine’s! Kal proceeded to catch it (but not Mary or Demian thank goodness, the last thing you want to do is infect your hosts!), and we are only recovering now. It was quite intense. I hope this is all the illness I will be experiencing in Barcelona, as I am NOT a good patient.

Still waiting on hearing about the flat we want to rent in El Borne, and hopefully should hear by tomorrow. For now, we are attending our Spanish classes and I am learning more about cooking from Mary.
