Well, we have returned. We are back in Van and most importantly we are glad to be back. We had a great 2nd stint in BCN and spent some great time with friends eating far too much paella, drinking not enough Estrella and Cava, playing futbal, and watching Barca go unbeaten for a record season so far.

Barcelona is now our second home and although we miss it, it feels great to know that the friends we have established will always welcome us back with open arms. In fact, we are already planning a return visit toward the end of summer.

Upon the week of getting ready to return the weather in Vancouver was overcast with low cloud coverage.

The city looked incredible.

Once we arrived, the cloud cleared and we had clear crisp sunny days for over a week, the Canucks ended their losing ways and Barcelona continued to cry for their loss.

….at least we like to think.
