Shanti and I headed North for the holidays this year in search of a more Canadian style Christmas. And in Prague we found it. Crisp, cool and cold with the spirit of Christmas everywhere. Unfortunately we did not get snow like the whole of Canada seemed to be blessed with but we did have plenty of Christmas markets to wonder through all of which included a fare share of hot gluh wine to keep us warm, and plenty of food options to keep our bellies full.

Christmas dinner was enjoyed at Maze which is a relatively new restaurant run by Gordon Ramsay. It was a 5-courser that culminated with a plate of turkey with all the fixins’! YUM! (sin brussel sprouts thank god!) It does not compare to a Christmas dinner with family but it was a fantastic dinner nonetheless.
